About Us

The focus of our practice is to protect and strengthen individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations, by equipping them to manage personal, financial, and legal risk.  We love what we do and take pride in doing it well.

David W. Adams, Esq.

David has been providing estate planning counsel for the past eight years.  David’s focus is on estate planning, estate administration, federal and state estate tax work, and serving as trustee.  While he enjoys the technical aspect of estate planning, it is working with his clients, their families, and the often messiness that life and relationships bring (and the associated challenges and opportunities) that he finds most rewarding.

David’s practice also includes serving as legal counsel to many nonprofit and religious organizations.  In this role, he advises boards and management on formation and exempt issues, risk management, and endowment matters.  David is the founder of RiskManager.net, which provides on-line risk management and training resources to nonprofit and health and human service organizations across the country.

David is a graduate of Harvard College and Northeastern University School of Law. During law school he clerked for the Honorable Patti Saris and the Honorable Walter Skinner of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and is a member of the Boston Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates section.

David is a soccer enthusiast and enjoys his role as U.S. history instructor for his two teenage children who are partly homeschooled as they pursue their various passions.
